Hello Lovely

Hello lovely, it sounds sweet already!  It's funny how such a simple word like lovely can make things sound so nice.  So when I got to play with the new products (namely stamps) that I received in my Convention goodie bag in May, I just had to make this card!

This card makes you go WOW!!  It's certainly not my style but having a play with new products, new colours and having instructions to follow - just takes you out of your comfort zone!!

So let's start with the colours: Quite a few new colours feature - Crisp Cantaloupe, Bermuda Bay & Coastal Cabana.  Of course with a few favourites too!  Old Olive & even Summer Starfruit!

I've used two new stamp sets: Hello, Lovely & Gorgeous Grunge.  And I have to say I'm loving Gorgeous Grunge (and I'm So NOT a grunge person) but it has great stamps for background stamping.

 

 

So as you can see, lots of elements and not even a flower in sight!!  But of course, there is a bit of bakers twine coloured with Bermuda Bay to match perfectly!

Inks: Crisp Cantaloupe, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Old Olive, Summer Starfruit and Calypso Coral
Accessories: Silver Glimmer Paper, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Epic Washi tape & Very Vintage designer button.
