I've loved feeling well so much that I made another card. As much as I had loved the new Forest Friends set from the Spring Mini Catalogue, I had been wondering what to do with it. It's hard to make something different when there only seems to be one style! Do you know what I mean? Trying to stand out from all the other lovely cards out there. I'm not sure if I did, but I really liked what I tried!
I tried to add a bit of interest with the main focal point, by adding fields in green. Maybe I could have done something more with the tree, but I quite like the card. I even squeezed in a bit of Baja Breeze with the DSP strip at the bottom. Did you notice my other piece of DSP???
I've curved the corners, with a corner punch and added a button. Might be a card for a certain nephew of mine!
Stamps: Forest Friends, Big Bold Birthday (Make a Wish sentiment)
Inks: Chocolate Chip & Old Olive
Papers: Kraft, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip & Old Olive CS, and Old Olive & Baja Breeze DSP
Other: Button, Corner Punch & Crochet thread
My son Luke is making some very cute tags with the Forest Friends set and some punches, so I'm sure he'll come up with something that will stand out from the crowd. As he always does :)
