I'm feeling better now!

I'm back! It's good to feel alive again. The good doctor has given me 2 days for recuperation, and I plan on using it to relax, recover and enjoy again. It's a shame my WH has just come sick from work himself (although from the sound of it, he's got an awful cold and not the bug I had). So I will now quarantine him off from the rest of the house!

Anyway, I have put off another day of studying or unpacking boxes or something to show you these little creations I have made!

I have fallen in love with the colour scheme used by the Candy Lane Designer Series Papers (DSP). I love the pinks, the very vanillas, the riding hood reds and they go so well with Baja Breeze and Kraft CS too. Am loving it! See for yourself! They just go so well with the Trendy Trees stamp set too! Don't forget to use your stamp-a-ma-jig!

This card needed a little 'oomph', so I popped up one of the tree tags (middle one!) with Stampin' Dimensionals and used a strip of Riding Hood Red CS to add interest to the Baja Breeze strip.

Inks: Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red & Chocolate Chip
Papers: Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla & Kraft CS
Other: Stampin' Dimensionals, Eyelets, Scallop Punch & Crochet Thread

This card was CASE'd from here - Yvonne Campbell Creations. I saw it, I loved it, I had to make it!

Inks: Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red & Chocolate Chip
Papers: Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla CS & Candy Lane DSP
Other: Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon

Other than the fact I LOVE the colour combinations, I am only allowing myself to use papers and ribbons from my scraps stash. Believe that!! All of these were found in my various bags of scraps of papers of various sizes. This is my new challenge for at least a week!
