A Mermaid for Bella

Another rainy old day in Canberra. Another good day for staying indoors, not so much because it's warmer but because it's drier!! Today, I had to absolutely finish the card for Bella and here it is! The colours are a tiny bit washed out (taking photos indoor with a flash on a gloomy day!). Thank goodness I'm doing a digital photography course at the moment, maybe I will learn to fix that!! Anyway, I digress ...

I think she's pretty cute and I wish I could take credit for her, but I found her while blog surfing somewhere and scribbled the picture down. It took me a bit of figuring which punches to use but I got there in the end. I also used lots of glitter (dazzling diamonds) as well as chalks for the background which just adds to the card. Cute!

Stamps: Pretty Princess (retired) Sprinkles & Something Fishy Wheel

Papers: Stampin' Up! Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery & So Saffron cardstock

Inks: Stampin' Up! Classic Basic Grey & VersaMark™

Punches: Scallop Circle, Large Oval, 1" Circle & 5-Petal flower

Other: Chalks, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Flower Fusion & white Brad.

So all I have to do now is pack her and the presents in a very safe box and send to my niece! Happy Birthday Bella.

I've also got some ideas with all the punch art that I've been doing lately. Be sure to stay tuned!
