Ladybird, Ladybird, fly away home ...

Hooray it was a rainy day here in Canberra. I wish I could say I got a lot of done, but sadly no. It was a day spent cleaning the house in time for the home loan broker and real estate agent to come around. We're at the business end of building now with completion only days away and decisions to be made about what we're going to be doing about our home. Our first family home has wonderful memories which always makes decisions to sell that tiny bit harder. A decision for another day, not today.

Here's a card I've been toying with as a possible birthday card for my niece Bella who turns 5 next week. Actually, I think it's on the weekend, so I had better hurry and get the card in the mail. I'm a big fan of punch art, collage and paper piercing, so this is a nice and easy go, for all of the above!

Papers: Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Bella Rose, Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Black & Certainly Celery Cardstock

Tools & Embellishments: Circle Punch, Oval Punch, brads, Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch and the Felt Fusion flowers. All from Stampin' Up!

I found a gorgeous card featuring a mermaid made with punches. I might try that tomorrow before I make my final decision. I reserve my judgement!
