Another Pocket Silhouette!

I had a busy day today! Matthew and I dragged ourselves into the cold and off to Questacon to join our big boy Luke on his school excursion. It was great watching the 5-6 year olds exploring in Questacon and having a ball. I think they will all sleep well tonight (me included) after all the walking they did!

I then popped into my local patchwork store to buy some zips for tonight's craft project only to find out they didn't have any at all. I had already been to the bigger stores without any success (apparently finding 10cm zips is not as easy as you think!). Anyway, I decided to visit my local craft store instead only to have much friendlier service and even a tip on how to make your own 10cm zips. I should have started there in the first place :)

If you're wondering what I'll be making tonight - it's these really cute little purses made out of felt, ribbons and button. Mine will be minus the zip tonight but I'll be fixing that tomorrow. I found this project on a blog - http://paper-and-string.blogspot.com/2009/03/500-posts-craft-day.html if you want to see for yourself and can't wait to see mine!

I even made a birthday card for my mother-in-law. I used the Pocket Silhouette stamps as well as the same colour palette that I've been using lately - greens, browns & blues. Doesn't sound very exciting but looks so much better when you look at how!

Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes & Occasional Greetings

Papers: Stampin' Up! Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, Kraft & Urban Garden DSP

Inks: Stampin' Up! Classic Basic Grey, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze & Not Quite Navy

Other: Kraft Taffeta Ribbon & Oval Punches

Just a short one today. I've got to go and pack my supplies for tonight!
