A Happy Thank you

I love to thank my friends and customers that help me continue in my little business, being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I joined for myself and my friends.  Over five years later, I still love it.  So when I receive orders, I try to send a Thank you card as often as I can.

These are my latest cards.  I love the simplicity and the colour just pops!  A great card to make when you're making a few, dozen or more!!

For my first card, I used the gorgeous colour of Coastal Cabana.  I inked the stamp once, making sure there was lots of ink on the stamp, and then stamped three times without reinking.  This makes a gorgeous ombre effect which is perfectly colour coordinated!

I have made a second colour choice by using the Strawberry Slush ink pad.  A really deep pink and really pretty!  I have then stamped the flower image over the colour using Basic Black inks.  A little sentiment was stamped as well.

For interest, I've added some gold sequins.  These sequins are so easily pulled off the Sequin Trim, the hardest part is trying not to get glue all over your fingers.  I recommend using tooth picks!

So here's what I used:
Stamps: Happy watercolour
Inks: Basic Black, Strawberry Slush & Coastal Cabana
Papers: Whisper White
Accessories: Gold Sequin Trim

Tomorrow I'll share a stepped up verison of this card we made at our Workshop in Melbourne :)

xx
