Silvery Bags

So I'm now on a Christmas project making roll!  Yesterday I made 20 odd cards or so, have started some Christmas craft with the kids as well as finding time to make a few other things too!

Today's project share are these little silvery bags I made as swaps for our Avid Inkers December break up.  I think they came up beautifully and made clever little swaps holding chocolates too!

I used the Silver Foil CS and die cut them using the little Purse Die.  Love the Big Shot.  I then embossed them with the beautiful 'Beautifully Baroque' Embossing folder.  Due to the size of the die cuts, I had to run them through the embossing process at least twice.  Oh well, great work out for my arms!!

I left the handles un-embossed and then made little snowflake tags to get into the Christmas spirit!  I used the gorgeous Snowflake Soiree stamp set (which I don't own but desperately want to!!!) and beautiful ink colours of Coastal Cabana and Island Indigo.

I have also cut a tiny circle from the Silver Shimmer cardstock and added to the centre of the snowflake.  The little snowflakes are then adhered to a scallop circle also punched from silver foil.  Lots of silvery goodness happening!

I almost forgot to mention I added another tiny snowflake to the front of the purse.  This one has also been made sparkly with glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  So pretty!!  Even prettier when you make a bunch of them and put them together!

So here's what I used:
Stamps: Snowflake Soiree
Inks: Coastal Cabana & Island Indigo
Papers: Silver Foil, Whisper White & Silver Shimmer cardstocks
Accessories: Scallop & Circle punches, white bakers twine, hole punch, Dazzling Diamonds glitter and adhesives
Big Shot: Bigz Purse Die & Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder
