Flowery Bouquet

I've had a wonderful time the past few days making a bouquet of flowers!  As much as I adore real flowers, it's lovely in winter to create your own.  So when my friend Emma decided to give these a go at our fortnightly morning tea, I was in!

I have used the new In Colours, with the fabulous and delicious names of Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe, as well as Strawberry Slush and Baked Brown Sugar.  Gorgeous colour names aren't they, but we mustn't forget Coastal Cabana either.  It's equally as luscious!

I've added little buttons that I've embossed with gold embossing powder.  I love how the gold takes it to a whole different level!

I can't get enough of these flowers.  In fact I've made a lot more to show another day.  I'm thinking they'll make fabulous adornments for packaging ideas.

Love, Love, Love how the stamps coordinate with the punch.  My favourite sort of coordination!

So here's what we used to make these flowers:

Materials
Papers: Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana & Baked Brown Sugar CS
Inks: Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana & Baked Brown Sugar
Flower centres: Buttons & Gold Embossing Powder, Versamark ink & heat tool
Adhesive: Tombow liquid glue and glue dots.
Tools: Piercing Tool & piercing mat, Bone folder, Scissors, tweezers, beading tools & florist wire

We also learned there is a great tip for matching your stamped images to the punch.  I recommend viewing this YouTube tutorial by Dawn Olchefske.
