Sometimes

... Sometimes it's hard to make a card.  Especially when it's a sympathy card for the loss of a loved one.  And such was this, a card for my Aunty and Uncle on the passing of my cousin a short while ago.  At only 24 years of age, it was the news that we had never expected.  Families are precious to me and it was a shock to us all.  So sometimes, yes it's  hard to make a card, sometimes it's even harder to write the words in the card.  And sometimes, it's just hard.  So I'm sharing this card to show that sometimes when it all seems difficult, making a card for a loved one helps.

I've used quite a few stamp sets for this card, including Easter Blossoms and Blessed Mother from the Summer Mini (now retired) to name a few.  I've used the large Baroque Motif stamp as a background stamp, with Pear Pizzazz ink.  You'll notice in the next picture it's not that dark as the coordinating cardstock.  That's because I stamped it first on a scrap piece of paper, as I just wanted a faint image.

Here's what I used:

Stamps: Easter Blossoms, Blessed Mother, Baroque Motifs and Thoughts & Prayers
Papers: Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black and Whisper White
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red & Old Olive
Other: Pear Pizzazz ribbon, Big Shot & Framed Tulips Embossing Folder

Rest in Peace Adrian....
