Today I decided to use a challenge for inspiration to make a birthday card. If you're ever looking for challenges and/or inspiration, try subscribing to a blog/website set up for challenges. I really like the Utah Diva International challenges. They do sketch challenges and inspiration challenges.
Anyway, I'm beginning to ramble!! LOL!! So lets start with the inspiration challenge - which is just perfect for Easter!
Isn't it the most gorgeous pic ever?.... I just love the little chick peeking out under the daffodils (I love daffodils by the way!). So this is what I made:
Here's what I used:
Stamp Set: Pocket Silhouettes
Papers: Mellow Moss, Sahara Sand, Almost Amethyst and Very Vanilla CS & scrap of DSP
Ink- VersaMark, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery & Yoyo Yellow
Accessories- 1 3/4" circle punch, Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Edge punch and Stampin' Dimensionals
And now, because I am an honest sort of gal, I will admit that I cased this card from the lovely work of Kirsty Brown! But of course, I made it my own!!
