Bundle of Joy

Hellooooo..

Yes, I've been off-line for a few days!! We've been lucky enough to have my dad, his lovely wife Cheryl and my nephew Brendan visiting us from Canberra.  Yes it was noisy, yes it was busy, but gee - it was a lot of fun!!  They left this morning to return home and we're all missing them!!

Cheryl and I always try to put in a bit of crafting time when we can, so it was incredibly great timing that they were here for our monthly craft night which luckily was held at my house this month.  We kicked all the boys (the big, the old, the small, the noisy ones) into the TV/Rumpus room and we took over the kitchen/dining area!!  Woohoo.  We had fun and finished just before 2am (we still don't know where that time went!).

I made a little boy card for baby Alex born last weekend.  As it turns out, Alex is Cheryl's first official grandchild so it was a lovely excuse to make a baby boy card.  This is what I made:

Once I got the template sized properly, this card just came together!

Here's what I used:

Stamps: Punches Three
Papers: Baja Breeze DSP, Whisper White, Baja Breeze & Kraft CS
Inks: Baja Breeze Ink & Basic Grey marker
Other: Large Oval punch, Small Tag punch, Small Star punch, Circle Punch, silver brads, sponge daubers & Stampin' Dimensionals

Just like the one I was inspired by and made by the very talented Susan Joyce!  See her creation here
