More Christmas in July stuff!

I forgot to show you one of my other projects for Christmas in July. This was one I tried at home after seeing it displayed on the Utah Divas International blog. There are so many blogs outs there to enjoy and inspire!

This one uses my OTHER favourite Christmas stamp set from Stampin' Up!, the Winter Post set. It is a classic set and can be used in so many ways..... I have to explore all those ways now!

I can't give you the dimensions for this one. I just cut one piece of A4 in half, long ways and then made everything to fit, including the pocket card. A bit of trimming here and a bit of trimming there! I don't always work with a ruler!

The pocket card has the flap folded over and decorated with scraps of ribbon and cardstock. I have cut the striped paper and Ruby Red CS mat to size and added the reindeer image which I had stamped directly onto a scrap of Holiday Treasures DSP.

The Pocket card was made to look like a post card. I even sponged the edges in Close to Cocoa to give it a vintage feel. Here's what I used:

Stamps: Winter Post
Colours: Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, Kiwi Kiss & Close to Cocoa
Papers: Holiday Treasures Designer Series Papers (DSP), Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red & Whisper White CS.
Other: Tab Punch, Ribbons, Eyelet, Stapler & Sponge Daubers

I hope you enjoy. I really like the postcard effect and think I will use this idea again!
