Upsy Daisy!

It's Monday and the weekend flew by yet again. I had a lovely weekend though! I made the Upsy Daisy set yesterday afternoon with Michelle, and made little projects with my Trendy Trees stamp set for my SU Demonstrator's meeting tonight (I'll show you that one tomorrow). I'm rushing, so let me fill you in!

Yesterday was the inaugural launch of the Stamp with Me stamp club with the first month project focusing on the Upsy Daisy stamp set from Stampin' Up! Our projects also used the Urban Garden Designer Series Papers from Stampin' Up! which did give the WOW factor to the cards and matching box. I love the papers, and I never know which side to use (they're double sided)! Luckily I was able to stock up on the papers during May! This is the official photo of what we made. My version is fairly close, just a little crooked in some of my greetings! But what do they say, practice makes perfect!

I've already put two of the cards in the mail (the thankyou card and the grey birthday card). I always put my cards to good use!!

For tonight's project, I wanted to make a thankyou card and gift for a friend, who really went out of her way to help me (I won't bore you with details), but I'll show you the finished results tomorrow. I just need to make 3" envelopes to match and then it is finished. So stay tuned. It will be a busy night tonight as we'll be in planning mode for the Christmas in July in August event. So see you tomorrow!
