Yesterday (May 12) was the second birthday of my nephew Aaron. Now that the day is passed, I can show you the card that I made and sent to him down in Melbourne. It was a brief respite from all the pink I have been working with lately! I used all the In Colours of 2009 (well almost all, all the bright & dark ones anyway!) and had a little play. I was very surprised to find that out of all the stamps I have, I don't really have much in the way of stamps for little boys (and girls come to think of it!). I might have to pull out my SU catalogue and go shopping again (LOL!!!).
So here it is:
Stamps: A Good Friend & Birthday Best (retired)
Inks: Stampin' Up! Classic Tangerine Tango, Red Riding Hood, Kiwi Kiss & Pacific Point
Papers: Stampin' Up! Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White & Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Other: Stampin' Dimensionals, Crimper, Eyelet, Seed Bead (for eye) & Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (around the edge of the wing)
Tip: I have used the SU Calendar letters & numbers set to stamp the number two inside the balloons & the Stampin' Dimensionals to "lift up" the wing!
So Happy Birthday Aaron, I hope you like your card and your party on the weekend. I'm sorry we can't come :(
