How was your Australia Day?

So how did you spend your Australia Day? We took BBL to the Museum and enjoyed the Australia Day festivities there. It was a really good day to go visit the displays of Australia past and reminisce about some of the icons we remember. I loved looking at the Australian Cook Book display, the caravan and the kitchen from the 1970s. It takes you back! BBL especially loved anything to do with dinosaurs and animals! Makes you glad to be Australian and enjoy our multicultural flavours and background. I love my Dutch connection!

Speaking of connections!!! I am going to connect with a friend and a birthday card I popped in the post last night! What do you think of this card? It uses minimal stamping and relies on punches and folding techniques instead. Clever!

Stamps: Embrace Life & Short and Sweet

Inks: Stampin' Up! Classic Chocolate Chip & Blush Blossom

Papers: Stampin' Up! River Rock, Apricot Appeal, Groovy Guava & DSP- Ginger Blossom

Other: Stampin' Up! small tag punch, scallop edge punch, circle & hole punches, white gel ink pen & button (non SU)

Tip: Use strong adhesives to glue this one down - such as Stampin' Up!s glue dots!

Yes, yes I know - it doesn't use this week's focus .................... which is by the way ....................... At the moment I am enjoying my Afternoon Tea Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin' Up! And yep, you guessed it - that's my focus this week. The gorgeous Afternoon Tea papers.

But I will excuse myself with the fact I spent part of my morning visiting the dentist (ouch) and the rest of the afternoon and evening at work!

But just wait until tomorrow and see ....................... (and besides the birthday card I made for Sunday using the Embrace Life stamp set & the male theme as well - uses the papers - go back and have a look!!)

Good night. It's late. I'm going to bed!
