By the Tide

Today's card share is a card I made inspired by the awesome blog of Amy Celona - UStamp4Fun!  I love that she'll share cards and the tutorials to make them too!

So this card is almost a direct case from Amy's card.  I used Very Vanilla cardstock, which didn't show too well in these pics (my apologies). And incredibly only two shades of ink: Crumb Cake & Soft Suede!

We inked up a clear acrylic block with Crumb Cake ink and stamped that directly onto the card.  I then added seaweed stamped in both colours, the script and fish stamped in Soft Suede.  I stamped the seahorse and shell onto a separate piece of Very Vanilla CS and hand cut them out!

I've propped up my seahorse and shell with dimensionals and then put a button cut from Soft Suede CS and tied off with twine on top.  The card was done!  Nice and simple, and perfect for my brother who likes fishing but no fussy cards for his birthday!  Happy birthday Chris by the way!!

So here's what I used:
Stamps: By the Tide
Inks: Soft Suede & Crumb Cake
Papers: Very Vanilla & Soft Suede CS
Other: Acrylic blocks, Big Shot, button sizzlits & twine.

For full instructions head on over to Amy Celona's blog and make the bag to match as well!
