Getting Creative

Just popping in to show a couple of cards I made over the weekend (I say popping in, as I'm supposed to be catching up on email......, for some reason I find it easier to stay up to date on Facebook now, those snappy one liners I guess!!).  Anyway, I digress.  I had a relatively productive stamping time and caught up on a few cards that I had to pop into the mail.

The first card is a thank you to a lovely lady (I have met through blog land, but not in person) for her generosity in sharing a crochet pattern with me.  So in return, I used crochet for a thank you card!

I used a couple of stamp sets to finish the card, added some pearl 'bling' and used the cute as brads from Sale-a-Bration!

I then made a second card using the same concepts for a fellow Avid Inker SU demonstrator, get well cards can never go astray!

So here's what I used (just in case you were wondering!!):

Stamps: Creative Elements & Occasional Quotes
Inks: Early Espresso, Island Indigo & Crumb Cake
Papers: Very Vanilla & Crumb Cake
Other: Pearls, SAB brads, punches, sponge daubers & Champagne Frost shimmer paint

If you're interested in the crochet pattern for the double flower, let me know and I'll write up the pattern :9
