A Cherry on Top

On Monday night, we had our Avid Inkers night (our Stampin' Up! team).  It's a night for sharing, creating, enjoying and planning for future events.  Two of the girls brought their Button Buddies stamp set along for a play.  This is a stamp set they received at the Australian Stampin' Up! convention back in May.  I didn't get to go, but I am enjoying what they made.  This set has recently been released in the American new SU Catalogue and I'm pretty sure that it will soon be released here.  It's so cute!

This is just one of the cards we made, using the Cherries stamp.  I love it and of course immediately had to make a card based on one I had seen earlier:

Here's what  used:

Stamps: Button Buddies and Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Papers: Early Espresso, Chocolate Chip & Whisper White CS and Jolly Holiday DSP
Inks: Old Olive, Early Espresso & Real Red
Other: Crystal Effects (on the leaf), buttons, white crochet thread, Word Window Punch, Mat Pack & Paper Piercing Tool, Mini Glue Dots and Big Shot with Circles #2 Die.

There's quite a few stamps in this set, just see for yourself (pic taken from US Catalogue):

So you'll see a few more cards over coming days ....

And here's the card that inspired me in the first place - click here and you'll see a cute little technique while you're there too - to make the card a moving card!
