Just popping in to say hi! It's been a super busy weekend and we're not even finished yet! But I had to quickly pop in and share this one.
The other day we visited the local Cherry Seed Cupcake Shop and I came home with one of my favourites. Vanilla! So yummy and divine! I had seen these darling little cupcake stands and decided to make one for my yummy cupcake. It had to be done quickly too before it got eaten by someone other than me!!
Isn't it the cutest thing ever??? I made a little butterfly cake pick and then put my yummy cupcake on it .....
Hmmm, I think the cupcake was a bit heavy .... it's got a bit of a lean happening. So I tried my little crystal teddy bear ....
Much better don't you think! Imagine these at a little girls party. Imagine all little cupcakes on darling stands!! Has got me thinking for when I need to plan Jessica's first party next year! To make these little cupcake stands, click here to visit the Bird Crafts website and download their template. You may need to reinforce the stand with cardstock. Just paper was a bit flimsy, but then perhaps I should have used a smaller cake!
And then I saw that this week's Just Add Ink challenge is to recognise the Cancer Council's National Pink Ribbon Day on October 25!: So JUST ADD BLING ... and PINK! And that's what I did! I added some bling (aka jewels/rhinestones) to my already pink/red cupcake stand! Cool!
Here's what I used:
Papers: Whisper White CS & Bella Rose DSP (retired)
Other: Butterfly Punch, Jewels and toothpick!
Maybe you can pretty up your cupcakes too, although I do recommend making smaller ones!!
